Music Production

Providing high school students with a comprehensive media production curriculum that allows them to develop skills and gain hands-on experience. This year-long program prepares students for a future in the dynamic and rapidly growing media industry. By reinforcing STEAM principles and Career Technical Education (CTE), we aim to expand opportunities in the entertainment industry, guiding participants towards sustainable media career pathways that lead to high school graduation.

Program Overview

The Heart of JOB Foundation (HOJ) serves as a Certified Instructor and mentor for participants, overseeing student-led projects that give voice to meaningful topics within their communities. Our initiatives focus on:
Increasing participants’ earning potential, Providing essential education and training,
Aligning skills with labor market demands, and Creating pathways for career progression.
Through these objectives, we aim to improve outcomes, enhance family relationships, promote employment opportunities, and bolster community safety.

Our program is designed to offer a clear career pathway infields such as information technology, communications, media entertainment, and business marketing. We support participants in preparing for multiple options, whether that be during high school, post-graduation employment, or pursuing higher education

Participants will be eligible for stackable credentials that enhance their career prospects:

  •  Pre-apprentice Certification: 12 points each (long term)
  • Adobe Certifications: 4 points each (immediate and long term)
  • Microsoft Office Certifications: 3 points each (immediate and long term)
  • Pro-Tools Certification: 4 points each (long term)
  • Leadership Excellence Certification: 3 points each (long term)
  • Google Certification: 1 point each
  • Retail Operations and Profit Certification: 12 points
  • Entrepreneurship/Small Business Certification: 3 points
